One Woman Show: On Being a Product Photographer

"Every photo that you see that has to do with 303 Face | Body in any way, shape, or form, I've taken. Aside from the skincare line, I live and breathe photography. From product images, to all social media, blogs, and so on, I take the photos for everything."

A direct quote from an interview that I gave to The Crazy Mind in 2016..

..... and the truth.

When I first started capturing the flower boxes and my big wheel in the backyard as a forth grader, little did I know what was developing.. which is one of the wonderful joys of discovery as a child.

My dad has always had an awesome camera, photographing here, there and everywhere, and this is how I became the owner of a kodak 110 camera as a little tyke. That purchase laid the foundation for what would become a fascination, admiration, and passion for me.

By my 14th year, I'd developed another admiration, and that was for leafing through beauty magazines, obsessively admiring the way carefully posed color palettes, stylish perfume bottles, nail colors, cold cream, etc, were posed within the pages of Allure and Harpers Bazaar. Again, little did I know that obsession was setting the tone for a brand that I would create more than 15 years later.

Creating 303 Face | Body initially addressed my want (and need) to create a sufficient line of skincare that offered ideal moisture benefits after moving from Los Angeles to Colorado. At the time, I never imagined that I'd not only be able to create an organic skincare line, but incorporate my passion for photography.. AND apply all of those years of admiring cosmetic and product photography to MY OWN BRAND.

Talk about full circle moment.

A wonderful and exciting experience to be able to do it all. From concocting a new moisturizer, to photographing the finished product prior to listing it online.

A firm believer in dreams coming true and living out loud, the development of all that I've created with 303 Face | Body is a testament to the magic of believing in yourself and following your dreams.. you never know where it will take you.
