#FeelingFriday: Do You Love What You Feel?
Yes.. It's April Fool's Day, but I've got a rather warped since of humor, so my pranks are a little intense. Also.. if people know that its April Fool's Day, you're not going to trick them. That being said let's focus on something else that's fantastic about the beginning of April..
Back on Earth Day in April 1990, my 6th grade class planted a tree, and I just thought it was the most awesome and wonderful thing, and being a nature loving girl, I love what Earth Day (and Earth Month) is about, and how it makes me feel.
It's all about awareness and appreciation of our planet. See liter at your neighborhood park and hate it? Pick it up. Want to do your part to help our air quality? Plant a tree or two.. or four. No aerosol.. ever. There are a myriad of things you can do daily.
What is spectacular about Earth Month is that it brings more attention to Green Living and doing our part, but it HAS to be a 24/7 365 way of life.. and it isn't hard at all. If you're like me, you had a wonderful childhood (pre cell phones and iPads) filled with recess, playing outside after homework is done, and summer days spent enjoying the great outdoors virtually from sun up to sundown. Let's do our part to try an make sure our children and many generations behind us can have at least a slight semblance of knowing this Earth the way that we have.
