This morning, the last day of my birthday month, I awakened to nature whispering my name. I don't know if you've ever experienced such a feeling, but it's literally like a magnetic force pulling you in, and you cannot (and do not) want to resist; you're all in. So I left my city girl life for a moment, and got lost in the gentle escape of nature.
This is not a feeling that I am unfamiliar with, but being that it was the first time that it happened to me at age forty, and on a Sunday, I quickly adopted and embraced it, dubbing the morning, "Renewal Vibes."
As I hopped out of my Lyft with the eagerness of a young child on their first day of school, I felt the welcoming spirit of Mother Earth wash over me; the air was crisp, and my senses heightened.
It was a chilly 48 degrees, and a lovely, Pacific Northwest style grey morning. I took deep breaths, taking in the subtle ripples that the ducks created as they gracefully created a work of art, t...
On the heels of turning 40, I recently had an epiphany as I stepped into an elevator a few days ago.
'Goddamn it, I want everything!" I exclaimed. Granted, there was no one in the elevator but me, however that was all that I needed... I put it out into the universe... I owned it... and seriously, I want it all.
As I currently sit, getting lost in a combination of the sound of turquoise nails gently tap dancing on the keyboard, whilst sipping on a Monster mocha, and occasionally falling into a trance from glancing over to the plume of incense smoke as it dances through the air, I realize as I inch closer to 40, workaholic vibes are starting to seep in, and I literally want to leave no stone unturned, which I find exhilarating, and damn awesome.
Coming from a life where, (and I'll be honest here,) I've been quite spoiled, I spent the better part of my twenties and thirties breezing through on looks and just enough. What's just enough, you ask?
In six years, the company has gone international, been featured in magazines, boutiques, podcasts.. and I'm damn proud.
Now.. Let's get back to the basics.
I've been spending a lot of time juggling (and creating!) new products, as well as organizing my hard drive, which literally possesses thousands of my photos of art, nature, and of course, 303 Face | Body products.. Photos and original products that I've completely forgotten about over the years, as my quest to kick ass overruled savoring the moment at times.
As I looked at the products, the detail, the love.. I felt proud, and also melancholy. Wanting to reach for the stars is phenomenal, but not at the expense of forgetting the early days, the blood, sweat and tears.. the "woohoo" moments.
While the brand was getting to the status that I wanted.. luxe.. spa grade.. I became so transfixed on the "what next," I completely forgot to appreciate the "current."
At the House of 303, my house cup always happily runneth over with beauty products, photographs, books, projects, herbs, recipes, H.. I.. J.. K.. L.. M.. N.. O.. P. You catch my drift.
After deciding on all of the photographs for Blogger Mon Cherie's #MoreThanMagic book, I wanted to create another coffee table book, as I am completely obsessed with them, and would love to share the organic skincare tips for 303 Face | Body, recipes , as well as HELLO! My obsession with interior decorating.
My first love, photography, will come into play as creating the pages for the guide will be a large part of the process.
The 303 Home | Loft | Wellness Coffee Table Guide will make its debut during the 2017 holiday season.

In mid- September, I received a call about 303 Face | Body going through the process of putting together a media campaign with Kevin Harrington of Shark Tank and As Seen on T.V fame.
I currently have so many campaigns and collaborations happening that I had to postpone. After trying to figure out if I could fit it in about 100,000 times, I had to ultimately wait.
Now, all of this is absolutely exhilarating.. but one of the most amazing moments in all of this is that 303 Face | Body is in high demand by this staff.. which is one of the greatest compliments for the brand that I could possibly receive.
For years now, I've believed in what I make, comfortably and passionately promoting and selling each item. What a beautiful confirmation that hard work and dedication, without a shadow of a doubt, pays off.

As I Carrie Bradshaw the evening away on this last day of September, I am happily reflective.
Some 6 years ago, I made a decision. That decision has lead to countless hours of brainstorming and projects for an artsy fartsy individual who loves to create. The decision has allowed for a love of photography and beauty products to marry together and develop a company. From Montage by Marci, which initially specialized in photography, to 303 Dolls by Montage by Marci, which began to incorporate a handful of charming homemade goods.
303 Dolls Face | Body became the company name as photography, though ever present, began to be a tool in the process of growing the skincare line, and less about the photographer and my landscape photography.
Through the various farmers markets, fairs, and bazaars, I began to.... although appreciative of those venues, sit, look around, and realize that I wanted the company to grow.... and to go in a different direction. I wanted it to be modern.. more sexy......
For quite some time now, I've been expressing my desire to have an in-loft herb garden, and while out shopping a few weeks back, I happened upon mini herb kits that came inside of mason jars. I had a couple left over from when I started storing herbs for the 303 Face | Body SubtleTEAS herbal tea line, and yesterday morning, (a day after National Gardening Day) I was finally able to plant the seeds.
A few weeks back, I'd gone over to our local gardening store here in the heart of the city, Urban Roots, to check on what sort of seed packets that were available. I decided on Marigold Signet (Lemon/Tangerine Gems), Basil (Sweet Thai), Lavender (English), and English Thyme.
There are so many things I love about our loft, and one of those is the wonderfully tall windows. Although I oftentimes miss having a balcony, I love the amount of light that we get in the loft, rain or shine.. and hope that it will be perfect in helping these awesome little herb...
