While watching The View two weeks ago, they had a really good promotion going for Crock Pots on their View Your Deal website.. and I jumped all over it!

Hello! It's crock pot season, and I used the two that I previously had until they simply fizzled out. I've been without one for two years, so I'm very happy right now!

The un-boxing.. like Christmas for nerdy Martha Stewart types.

There were three color choices, and I loved this one.. reminds me of 1950's decor. My husband grimaced when I showed him the color I chose, but I'm in love.. makes me want to get a teal 'ice box' also. :)

This week has been rather busy, and I'm not sure I'll have time to get some recipes made up for the cooker this soon, so what did I do? I totally went on Pinterest and typed in Slow Cooker Recipes, and found two to get me started this week.

Woo-oo!

The crock pot promotion is now over, but check out the site for other wonderful deals.

Chamomile flowers are a favorite of mine, and a chamomile tincture works wonderfully for aiding against headaches, settling the stomach, as well as a stress reliever. You can take one dose orally (one teaspoon) a day for best results. The instructions for making your own tincture are as follows:

1 cup of dried Chamomile flowers.

2 cups boiling hot water.

2 cups vodka or rum.

1 quart size glass jar with airtight lid.

You'll first place the chamomile flowers into your jar. (Either fresh or dried chamomile flowers are appropriate.)

On June 20, my husband and I made our way to San Jose (and San Francisco.)

Although I'm a native to California, it was my first time visiting these areas, and of course, we had a delightful time.

I also had a blast shopping, and finding fun little souvenirs. You most certainly cannot go to San Francisco without returning with a cable car of some sort..

I instantly fell in love with this cable car music box, and found a neat place in the loft to display it.

I also fell in love.. not with another man, with Muji. "No Brand, Quality Goods" is their logo, and quality is right. Such a clean, modern, all in one store. Unfortunately, there are not any locations in Colorado, but hallelujah for online shopping!

There was a location very close to our hotel, and after two days of wondering just what it was, we stepped in, and were in awe.

This may or may not seem comical, but I fell in love with this toothbrush and stand that they had displayed. I just loved the streamline, simplistic look of...
